Next Seattle Show, Thursday May 3rd

Seattle, thank you for a phenomenal 1st Quarter, 2012.  It looks like you and I are taking a bit of a breather in Q2, but there is one show I’m proud to be a part of: Fringe and Feathers: Burlesque Hall of Fame Legends’ Challenge Fundraiser.

We can’t spell “Burlesque” without “U”—so please: help us rock this year’s BHOF Weekend Legends Challenge!  Join us for this series of fundraisers and help preserve the community of Burlesque.  … Academy Of Burlesque BHOF Museum Fundraiser – April 28th West Hall  Fringe and Feathers BHOF Legends Challenge – May 3rd Rendezvous.  Midnight Menagerie BHOF Legends Challenge – May 16th Rendezvous. *A group ticket for all three events is available HERE: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/239484

Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend is not only the world’s biggest and most prestigious burlesque gathering, it is also the longest running. Continuous since 1957, the weekend has its roots in Hall of Fame founder Jennie Lee‘s annual gathering of stars from the art’s heyday. Since Jennie’s passing in 1990, Dixie Evans has upheld that dream, growing the reunion from an informal, private gathering of retired exotics into the internationally renown four-day extravaganza now known as Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend. As Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend has grown, so has our commitment to celebrating the women (and men) who made burlesque great. We are proud of our Living Legends—and we need your help to get as many of them as possible to Vegas this year. That’s right, members of the international burlesque community are showing their love for our Living Legends by helping raise money to help the museum offset the cost of sending them to BHOF Weekend this June. In today’s difficult financial climate, BHOF has very limited funds—and as such, ability to cover travel costs for burlesque’s honored guests has been severely compromised. By attending a 2012 Legends Challenge Benefit, you’re not only helping us bring vintage superstars to Las Vegas, you’re helping support the Hall of Fame itself.

OFFICIAL FRINGE and FEATHERS Line-up!
Hosted by: Miss Kitty Baby Starring:
Legend ~ Di Alba
Icon ~ Tamara The Trapeze Lady
Kylie Koyote
Ginger Snapz
Evilyn Sinclair
Iva Handfull
and MORE!
Supporting Cast: Miss Fortune Richard Longfellow LuLu Bell

We are pround to announce our sponsors:
JoJo Stiletto Events
Dessi Devine

The next show I’m proud to be a part of is Seattle’s annual Moisture Festival!
This Friday, 3/30, we have two Libertease Burlesque shows, 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm.  7:30 pm is sold out, but our 10:30 show still has some openings.

Can’t make it to my specific show?  Saturday night has a show as well and there are other great shows at Hale’s Palladium that are ALL AGES!!  I would have loved to seen variety acts like this when I was a kid!!

The Moisture Festival presents Libertease Burlesque at the beautiful Broadway Performance Hall on Capitol Hill. Featuring a tantalizing mix of burlesque stars and ribald comedy/varietè acts, these shows seduce and delight. This unique brand of burlesque show is presented in a daring and beautiful new way.
